I just got a call from my OB office. They had repeated my CBC last Friday because my platelets were just shy of normal - 139. The repeated test came back and now they are 127. They want to repeat it in 2 weeks to see if it continues to drop and if it does, they will refer me on to either maternal-fetal medicine or to a hematologist. This is my 5th pregnancy and have never had a problem before. I'm starting to get pretty worried. I can't find any good information out there about this and so far everything I've read about ITP and pregnancy, people seem to find out they have this with their first pregnancy, not their 5th. Just wondering if anyone else had this happen?
