Low progesterone and PCOS

Hi all,

I will be 7 weeks tomorrow and have PCOS but conceived naturally (unplanned too!) My doctor's nurse practitioner called this morning to let me know that I have low progesterone (12.5) and wants to put me on a (vaginal) suppository and have me abstain from sex for a week or two. Anyone else go through anything like this? I plan to take the medicine, anything to help my baby stay safe =]

I found out I had super low progesterone at 6 weeks & it was at 4.9! Didn't get put on progesterone (orally) until 7 weeks..now have made it to 8 weeks 1 day so feeling pretty positive everything is going better. I go tomorrow for labs to see if progesterone pills are working..won't know results til friday though. Your number doesn't sound dangerously low yet like mine did so i wouldn't stress over it & just take your medicine & i'm sure it will help good luck!

I was on progesterone until 14 weeks with my daughter. I started taking them as soon as I knew I had ovulated. They are messy but they worked for me!
