Hey Ladies,
I got back the results of my CD21 Progesterone tolerance blood work...It came back at 3.79, :hissy: I am so devastated, isn't that really low? I am new to tall this but I read that it should of been at least 15+...I guess they will up my Clomid dosage of 50mg to 100 or 150mg...Sorry to sound down, I feel horrible right now...Thanks for hearing me out

I'm sorry to hear about your results. Lots of  to you x

Hi Chick,
Sorry your results were low. My FS says they have to be over 30 i think it's 20 in the US. Were you on clomid this cycle?

It might just mean you did not ovulate yet. When I was going for my CD21 blood tests I had to go three times because I do not normally ovulate until around CD23, which would mean my progesterone levels would not have risen until around CD30. It might just mean you need to change dosage/drugs or simply that you have not yet ovulated and therefore the rise has not been detected.

My doctors like to see a level of 20+. On the upside, vaginal progesterone supplements are cheap and easy and get your level up. This is a very minor problem in the whole scheme of LTTTC. Talk to your doctor about supplements.

Hi,
I was on 50mg of Clomid (my first cycle) taken on cd5-9...I have to wait until Friday for my specialist to advise what my next step would be...I feel a little better now and thanks ladies for responding :-) I will keep everyone posted with what the doc says

Thanks for the advice are the supplements prescribed?

Yes. Your doctor will need to prescribe it. It comes in vaginal suppository form and injectible. I'm not sure if there are certain times when one is prescribed and times when the other is, or if it's just preference. But it could be worth looking into.

hi i know wat you mean i have progesterone too
