Low progesterone?

Hey ladies
I am currently 8w5d pregnant
At my first doctor apt at 7w1d
My hcg was just under 50000 but
Progestrone was low at 8.9
Was given a prescription for it
And retested Fri a week after taking the
Prescription and its now only 12.94.
I was hoping it would be higher
Is it possible to still have a healthy pregnancy with low progesterone . I have 0 symptoms at my 7 week apt. We did see a strong heart beat at 135bpm
I had a miscarriage a year ag so nervous

Ask for different meds if those aren't working. 12 isn't bad but the higher the better. Progesterone is more than just getting to the heartbeat, it will help the body and baby until the placenta takes over.

At 6wks, my hcg was 28862 and p4 was 41. Your hcg sounds awesome! Im glad they tested your p4, good for you!
