LTTTC #1 need a buddy!

Hello my name is Annie i'm 25 my hubby is 30.We have been ttc for 4 years now with no luck. We have both agreed that it's time to stop being stubborn and see a specialist for help. My husband and I have went to our general practitioner and had physicals done and my hubby was told he's on the low side of normal testosterone wise. So we are waiting on a referal to an endocrinologist so he can be checked out and have his swimmers checked. My OBGYN wants him tested first before they will refer me to any testing. Anwho... looking for someone to chat with and share this journey with because other than my husband I dont have anyone I can talk to about all this.

Just read your jouney hun and i'm sorry for your losses. I've had one cp in may of 2014 so I know how it feels to be full of excitment and have it taken from you. My husband and I have waited for so long to seek doctors help cuz I think we are both afraid to hear that one of us is to blame (even tho we have both said it wouldn't matter). I guess it's been eaiser to be in the dark about it all but now we are just getting impatient lol.

Not yet we go tuesday for my husbands follow up to get the referal for the endocrinologist. I'm excited and nervous. Seen in your journey post that you are looking into tracking apps I have been using fertility friend to chart my temps when I do lol and I use pink pad for my period and ovulation tracking.

Well I just ordered fertilaid for my husband this evening. We went to Walgreens to try and find it but they don't carry it in store We also had a long talk and decided that because I want to change my OBGYN that i'm just going to schedule an appointment with a new OB and go from there. That way my new OB can refer him to an endocrinologist who works along with my OB so it's an easier process with test results and etc... Aunt flo is on her way out the door, so excited for monday to call and make an appointment and get this baby making under way lol. Did you have any luck finding the apps? If you find a good basal thermometer that doesn't take forever to give you a temp let me know because I need one.

i guess its so much easier to live in ignorance because the heart always gets hurt with the truth but its good that you and DH have decided to get into it properlyl. hoping soon you get your BFP soon. let us know if you do go with a new OB and what they say for DH, sure that will be a quick fix.

Thanks and welcome ! I've found two new OB's who take my insurance going to call in the morning and see which one can get me in. My husband has started with his fertilaid and I've started taking my vitamins again ( didn't miss burping the taste of dirt lol). How are you doing?

i have 2 reasons why i hate multivitamins, one is that horrid taste that i just cant get used to and two is that it just makes me want to eat the whole day. and OB said no weight gain. thats actually strange for OB to wait for hubby things then refer you.

AF appeared this morning. not a surprise, she been showing her signs all week and i have been feeling so miserable. i am preping myself for alll the pain to come.

My current OB said since my cycles are regular, and I have confirmed O with 6 months of temping. That he wants my husband checked first because it's easier to test him. Then if things come back ok there then thery're going to move on to me.

I'm sorry af came hun. What's ahead for you this cycle after the witch leaves?

well ok that makes more sense, you rather try non invasive routes than invasive digging and probing.

I'm getting impatient waiting on O. The fertilaid my husband is taking is helping a lot TMI his sex drive has increased which is great I haven't gotten an appointment yet waiting till after I O to make one. Just feeling really hopeful for this cycle which idk if it's a good thing or a bad thing. Don't want to get my hopes to high to have the witch fly in a destroy it. If we don't get a BFP this cycle I'm going to start temping again. Is af being nice to you this cycle?

The witch is actually not as bad. got home from work, was so exhausted though, pain really takes a toll on my body. Hubby had to do cooking, had no energy. I ate and slept for 2hrs. Feel much better now.
i wish fertilaid was easily avail this side of the world, i just checked the price, leave alone availability and it over $50. Thats quite steep for me. The thing is if we dont have hope every cycle then we really have nothing so i dont blame you for hoping and i will be hoping with you that this is your month. When do you O?

I'm suppose to O on the 17th but my opk this afternoon was pretty close to positive so may O early will just have to wait and see. Do y'all have access to eBay or Amazon there?

No dont have access to that. Have a different online shopping site but does not have that there. Are your cycles regular?

Yes they are regular they run anywhere from 28-30 days. I think taking the b6 has screwed with my cycle though cuz my ovulation test show that I Od yesterday on CD12 and I normally O on CD15. So idk what's going on down there lol we have been bding every other night till my O which was yesterday now it's every night for four days then rest lol. There was a vitamin similar to fertilaid that's suppose to be cheaper I'll look and see if I can find the name for you. How are you feeling?
