Hi all, I am looking for buddies to share this journey we are all on. I have had two M/C most recently in June! We have been TTC for 9 years and sometimes I wonder what we are doing and if we should just forget it!! I love my DH very very much and he is my soul mate of 14.5 years :hugs:

I am now TTC again and I am so hoping for a BFP again this month. My only worry is that the enjoyment of being PG will be gone. Is there anyone else also feeling like this and on a similar journey??

Hi Lorna. So sorry to hear about your recent loss. I too have had 2 miscarriages, and it's so tough. DH and I have been married 6 years, TTC 4, and right now I am feeling so so low. Yesterday, my best friend called me and said that she is expecting baby #2. Just this afternoon, another friend called me and said she is expecting baby #1. I want to be happy for them, I really do. But it's so hard not to be jealous. I hope that it will be our turn soon to get our BFPs!

Thanks and sorry about your losses. It can be draining but I am sure it will happen again for us and next time third time lucky :winkwink:
It is really tough to be strong for people and happy for them, when my sister in law fell PG two years ago I just cried..that was really tough for me as it only took them a couple of months, she is also my DH twin sister!!

We will soon be telling everyone our good news I am sure baby dust to you :dust:

I'm in the same boat as you, though not ttc quite as long as you. We've been ttc for 2+ years trying for our first and have also had 2 miscarriages. I worry about the same thing... it's just hard all the way around.

Sorry for your losses. Lets hope we can be of some help to each other, as it is a tough journey and I do think we will have our (third time) lucky sticky beans soon :hugs:

here's hoping 3rd time's the charm for all three of us! So tough. I seriously have been feeling so dejected these past few days. This afternoon, I just lay in bed sobbing and this was before my friend called to about her bfp. but I hope by chatting with you ladies, it'll give me more motivation. I have just been feeling so isolated because of all this.

Hi ladies, I'm sorry to hear of each of your losses. We have been TTC for almost 3 years and we have had four early miscarriges. Im on a mixture of medications now to prevent another miscarrige hopefully and we are doing our first round of iui next week.

sorry to hear about your losses Chook! Here's hoping you get a BFP after your IUI and that you'll have a really sticky bean! Will keep my FX for you!

Thank you. I hope we all get our bfp's with our sticky beans very soon. It's not a nice journey at all xox

Chook : So sorry to hear of all your losses and I hope we can help on here

W8ing4BFP : I have certainly found it helpful coming on here

:dust:

Yes having others to talk to makes life so much easier. Where are you ladies at in your cycle?

Thanks Lorna, W8ing, and Chook! I'm so sorry for all of your losses as well. A parent should never have to say goodbye to a child - even one they haven't met. :( It's definitely a good feeling to know that we aren't alone in these even though I wish none of us were in this circumstance.

I'm currently 5dpo and antsy! How about you?

I am 13dpo but at my last doctor's spot, my dr. found a hemorragic cyst so she said it is unlikely that this month will be the month for us. Expecting af tom.

Sorry to hear that!!! Ya poor thing. I'm on cycle day 10 and start having blood tests to catch ovulation for iui at some stage next week. Not expecting to fall the first try but we have enough saved for three iui's and one Ivf ( I'm in Australia so there is no free treatment here). Hopefully one of those cycles will do the trick. I seen a immunologist yesterday and if the steroids don't work and I lose another there is another treatment they can try.

I am on day 7 of my cycle...have started re charting my cycle with the Billings Method which helped us get PG last time...so FX :winkwink:

W8ing - Awww... I'm sorry to hear that. Is there anything that can be done to help this not affect next cycle?

Chook - no free treatment here in the USA either so I'm in the same boat as you. How exciting to be starting IUI though! Fingers crossed that the steroids work for you!

Lorna - What's the Billings Method if you don't mind me asking?

Billings method is about charting your mucous, lovely I know, but I have really got to know what my body is doing. It is meant to be a more accurate way of knowing when you ovulate especially if you have irregular periods!! I am happy to let you know more info if you want!! I do really recommend it

I've been charting my CM as well as cervix, but so far I'm not seeing a hugely helpful pattern. lol I tend to have EGCM for as much as a week before ovulation and my cervix seems to be moody. :P How's it working for you so far?

It works well for me normally but I am only 8 days into my cycle after my D&C so not sure how it will be this month. Sorry if TMI but its also about checking the texture of the mucous, if its stretchy etc. Mucous changes depending on what you are doing. I now know what its like when I am o'ing. I only seem to have a handful of days without any CWM so its has been helpful to see some sort of pattern!
