Lying about trying again

Hi ladies, I'm so sorry for your losses.

I'm waiting for miscarriage - going into hospital tomorrow for the tablets - I'm so scared.

We didn't tell anyone as I've had a loss before and am a bit older so know the risks go up.

I found out at my twelve week scan and told close family and friends the news we didn't want to give them, but because we needed support (and also wanted them to stop asking "are you trying for a baby yet"

We're going to start ttc after first af. The hospital said to wait one cycle but that it's only for dating purposes (it's so confusing to hear conflicting advice).

Again we won't be telling anyone until we've had a successful twelve week scan. I would like to wait till twenty weeks but started showing at eleven weeks this time even though there was no baby there

I am so sorry for your loss C Beary. There is no medical reason to wait except dating (and dating should be fine 1) if you know when you ovulated or 2) a dating scan further along) but I think a big part is the emotional reason. Some women take longer to heal. I have healed pretty quick but I never got to see or hear a heartbeat. I don't even know if it made that far. It's kind of amazing how I had such unconditional love for this tiny little seed in me. But I'm okay with talking to my BFF about her TTC journey and I just found out an ex co-worker gave birth and I was told (in secret) another ex coworker is 12 weeks along. she was just going to tell me and then I announced the miscarriage. But I so super happy for her because I know how much they have been trying as well and she's suffered through this too.

But every lady here just needs to take the time they feel necessary. If you want to jump back in before your next af go for it. If you want to take 3 months to grieve and heal, go for it.

I am pretty sure I am ovulating today, I got a positive opk last night. Which is wild because I don't ovulate on my own. and this is all right on schedule as per the last 2 cycles. It will be confirmed next monday with a progesterone test. but only a few people know this and if we do fall pregnant so soon, definitely keeping it a secret.

Hey c beary83 - I am sorry for your loss and I hope things go smoothly tomorrow. I know you're scared but things will be okay.

It's been over 3 weeks since I miscarried and AF has not come yet but I think it will be here before the week is up. My goal is to wait until it comes and goes before I start ttc. But if it happens sooner, then I take it as a sign that it was meant to be.
