Macrocytosis.

The doctors called me yesterday and said they found macrocytosis - enlarged red blood cells. Has anybody had this before or know any info about it? x

Yes it's fairly common in pregnancy and in most cases is just a 'quirk' of pregnancy that goes away after delivery. In a few cases it can be due to a form of anaemia caused by b12 deficiency but unless they have said they think this is the case I wouldn't worry about that xx
