I'm totally confused about using an opk and ttc! I know that an opk signals an LH surge, which happens about 24hrs before ovulation, correct? So should we still bd the day after the LH surge (and opk negative) because theoretically I could be ovulating that day? Or do you just bd through the positive opk's? Using IC for opk's....

I've always read you can ovulate 12-36 hrs after your first pos OPK. Keep BD all the way through your pos's until you see a neg again. If you really wanna know when you ovulate in comparison to a pos OPK I would also bbt. I found out when I bbt and used OPK that I ovulated on my first pos OPK. BBT you'll get a temp shift followed by 3 days of elevated temps to confirm ovulation has happened. :)
