Maliyah born on fathers day xxx

Welcome to the world my beautiful daughter Maliyah
After 26 hours of trying to induce me into fully established labour , I ended up with an emergency c sect. Baby didn't like how things were going and I was only dilated 5 cm at the time , so they didn't want to risk anything and felt a c section was best . Was exhausting with the drip and examination after examination . Had 2 stool tablets up my bum too , which gets rid of stools in the bowels .... Awful experience as you have to wait at least 15 mins to go loo and believe me you are desperate by 2 mins .
Anyway , so after a surreal experience in the theatre ... We finally got to meet Maliyah ... All 8lbs 12 ounces of her .
I got an infection which is clearing up and until today , was in extreme pain and could move off the bed . Had a drain fitted to drain blood from uterus which is rare . The midwives said they hadnt seen someone in so much agony after a c sect .
I will say it has been traumatising and really hate it here in hospital but I am so thankful for the gift at the end . Gift of life .
