Hello ladies :hugs::hugs:

Can any of you lovely ladies give me a reveiw on the mam bottles please. Are they as good as they say they are. Are there others you would recomend. I have tried Tommie tippie which we are using at the moment and Dr browns which she doesn't like the teat :dohh: Thanks :hugs::hugs:

we use a few brand of bottles and we really like the MAM ones :flower:

MAM bottles rock, took Lo a few go's to get used to the teat but i DEFO reccomend them, ive tried all types of bottles xx

I've just bought these yesterday and think they are great so far. I was using the TT anti-colic ones and they were fine but LO dribbled loads and ended up with half of her milk around her neck! However the MAM ones seem great for the dribbles. I've bought the anti-colic ones and they seem to be good with the air thing too. LO took to the teat straight away, dunno if thats because I use MAM dummies too though. Plus they look fab so thats a bonus!!

Love my Mam bottles. They really saved our sanity as lo struggled with any other teat and ive tried most.

I LOVE THEM!!! We bought TT to start with and had a few problems with them. I got a mam bottle free at the baby show and I fell in love with them. So easy to clean and LO drinsk really well from them. It took her a few tries to get use to the teat but she feeds really nicely from them. I'm gonna switch to them completely I think. OH likes them too :) ....... and another thing... They come in pretty colours!! LOL!

My LO is on tomee tipee closer to nature at the moment and isn't drinking very well so might go buy one of these bottles and give them a try

We used the Ultivent ones and found them to be fantastic.x

I too am thinking of trying these (thanks 'worrisome' for the recommendation on my thread:thumbup:)

I have tried:

tommee tippee ctn
dr browns
avent

& my LO isnt really getting on with any of them :nope:

Going shopping tommorow, so will buy some

Jeez...Must have spent a fortune on bottles now & shes only been having them a couple of weeks! :dohh:

Where is the best place to buy them with the slowest flow teat? (UK)

What is the 'ultivent'?

They are on offer in TK MAX at the moment for those of you that use them. I think it was three bottles for £7.99, in pink or blue. They deffo had them in the Bristol and Salisbury store.

May I ask why didnt your LO get on with all the other bottles?

My LO seems to fuss & get too much milk....She gulps it down, taking lots of air...Then lets go & crys....Its such a trauma, cant wait to find a bottle/teat she likes :baby:

Evenflow gave him to much gas, NUK is too fast and he gulps down heaps of air and wouldn't drink much, ttctn teats are quite squishy and he just wasn't drinking much, he would only drink 100-110mls if i am lucky when he should be on 180ml for his age so he isn't gaining very well, now i tried mam and he is taking about 150mls at a feed so we will see if he continues to do so

i just mentioned in another thread we used all the bottles known with alex , with him being prem he was a poor feeder

after trying them all (tt, avent, dr brown, nuk ,own brands etc) we tried mam and it was an instant sucess they were great and he still uses them now for his night time bottle

i have bought them straight away for this baby

Tesco do mam bottles.
Some actually sterilise in the microwave simply by putting water in the bottles. Loved that idea for if we're out at other folks houses.

tk max have a deal on some too 3 bottles for 6.99 sholud be 11.49 i think it is, i just got some the other day xx

I swear by the MAM bottle they are great my wee one hated TT bottles as they were too soft ... I would recommend them to anyone FF and would never buy any other bottles these are fabby!!!

I love MAM bottles! Brought some nearly a week ago and LO loves them and is taking more milk from them. Brought a normal MAM bottle but didn't like that LO had to let go to release the vacuum so got ultivent ones and am very happy, will definately get them for my next LO and am thinking about getting some MAM pacifier for LO too (he currently has avent pacifiers)
