has anyone bought this?
i found it today in mamas and papas and loved it.

https://www.mamasandpapas.com/product-sola-grass/103511100/type-i/

its reversible seat, lie flat, not too big and heavy.
but altogether the pushchair is £250, the car seat £135 inc adaptors, so thats £385. the carrycot is £100 so that totals £485 which i think makes it quite expensive, but the pushchair lies flat and has a footmuff so i could just get the pushchair and it is basically the same as the carrycot?
i loveeee carry cots though! haha

MIL in buying the pushchair, i said to OH she can just get the pushchair and carseat and we can see in august if we have enough money to buy the carrycot. (annoyed at myself as spent £300 last week on junk food! and that couldve paid for the carrycot)

any opinions on it and advice?
thanks!

I love that pram, I would want to get it in orchid if I were to have a girl, since im not too keen on the green. I'm also considering the quinny buzz 4 and bugaboo bee (although they are a bit more pricey).

I haven't read many reviews on the mamas and papas sola, so i'm not sure how good it is, but it looks fab and seems practical.

It looks great!
I'm (MIL is paying actually) actually now I cant remember the price! Lol she is buying me a brand new silver cross 3D and offered to buy the car seat aswell but we dont need it.

My friend is paying like 400 and something for a pram and seat, no car seat or anything so I think thats actually quite a good price for what it is :)
Its certainly something I would have considered if I were not so fussy about the front wheels! Lol!

My local pram shop has that and they give you 10% off all prams if you pay in full when you order, do you have any that do somethign like that near you? At least then you would be getting the carrycot nearly half price.

We've bought it and paid for it then 6 weeks before the baby is due we go to pick it up. We looked at what seemed like hundreds of pushchairs and that was our favourite. We got 10% off because we went there one weekend when they were having a sale. Love, love, love it! I think they told us its quite a new model which is why there aren't many reviews on it.

I looked at this and it's very nice although I ended up buying the skate instead. It does lie flat so you may find you don't need to buy the carrycot too.. Although I probably would as it looks more comfy for a newborn.

M&P have 10% off today if you enter code CRM24MARCH at the checkout.. I just ordered some stuff :) x

We bought one a couple of weeks ago with the carry cot. We weren't keen on either colour so we have ordered it it plain black, Mamas and Papas just makingthem now so otout until June/July time which suits us perfect. Costs a little extra but well worth it i'd say x

i havent got that pram but we have bought a mamas and papas pram, the ultima polka dotty pram and they seem really good quality prams x

OH and I went to Mamas and Papas today, also because of the 10% sale and we had a demo of both the Sola and the Urbo. I liked them both but was also not keen on the green and being on team yellow can't really get the orchid! We went for the Urbo, mainly because we live in a flat and it was a bit lighter and folded flatter (and I liked the design). You are quite right that for both they go into a lie-flat position and you don't actually need the carrycot but can buy as an extra. This was a big selling point for us as I don't want a travel system with loads of bits that we have no space to store. The Sola has a much bigger basket under than the Urbo (but then the pay-off is that it won't fold as flat) and the seat comes up a little higher on the Sola to save bad backs a bit. The other thing is that the wheels are a bit sturdier and bigger on the Sola than the Urbo (but also prevents it folding up as small). The urbo is really designed for wheeling in the city rather than on rough terrain, which suits us fine. Anyway I liked both but we went for the Urbo just because it suits our personal circumstances better. If I didn't live in a flat in London I maybe would have gone for the Sola over the Urbo.

Mamas and Papas did well out of me today, I ordered the Urbo and footmuff and also bought cotbed, wardrobe, over cot changing rack and chest of drawers!
