Lovely scan pics Mumof1+1

I felt so sick yesterday evening I just went to bed, seem to feel worse in the evenings. I keep craving random things like Iron Bru :haha:

I've had a birth with epidural and my last was a water birth with no pain relief. 100% epidural this time lol.

I haven’t really thought about it. I always said i would like a water birth. But to be honest i just dont really want a c section xxx

First was epidural, second was a rush to hospital so I had no time for pain killers but I would do it that way a thousand times over if I could. I liked being able to move about more and getting to go home earlier. But I also never fully allow myself to make a definite birth plan as things will not always go your way. That way I don't feel as distressed when unplanned things happen.
 
Yes I agree I’m not going to make a birth plan but I am going to aim for a home birth and if it changes then that’s okay I will go with it. I would absolutely like to avoid another section but again what will be will be. But I’ve a really supportive consultant midwife in my trust area who advocates for home births so I’m 100% sure that that’s my first preference and unless there is a medical reason I should be in hospital then I won’t be going down that route. Im really lucky that my hospital is literally a stones throw from my house, it’s less than half a mile away only 3 minutes driving normally from my door to theirs and I really like the idea of having two midwives dedicated to you the whole time. I hated hospital the last time with the twins it really had a negative effect on me and my husband. That’s my biggest driver this time around.

I want a final chance of a home birth. Wasn’t allowed with my first, 2nd got stuck so I’d to be rushed in and 3rd went on that long I’d lost the will to live!

Sorry I completely missed this huni. Yes you should get it by now it’s usually anything over 5 weeks but sometimes it won’t come up and hcg varies so much but I’d defo give it a go x

I'm officially on all day sickness. Had to call in sick today, it started being bad last night and no break ever since.
Now I know if it went away on its own I'd be worried sick but right now I feel like crying I'm so unwell... I was going to try to hold off but I think I'm going to have to start taking medication for it in this pregnancy also. I'll have to wait until Sunday though but I'm miserable.

Oh no that sounds awful. I hope the medication will ease it for you. Can anything help it until then? Ginger or something?
 
Got my booking appointment and dating scan date today. Both are Monday 9th September. Delighted to know when it is now but I'll be 10 weeks 6 days. Usually the scan is done around 12 weeks so to me it's a bit weird that it's earlier. At least I don't have to wait as long to see the baby. 5 weeks 3 days and counting!

I'm the same, I really want to take a digi. I talked myself out of it last weekend but now that I'm 5 weeks 3 days I'm hoping I will get a 3+ weeks. How far along are you now?

I did my digi at 5 weeks and got 3+ so so t see why you should t get it too now hun xx

Aww huni it’s awful when it’s constant. I think the earlier you take it the better I would just get it. You can’t go through the next couple of months feeing like that. It’s horrible I really feel for you. Can you not go to pharmacist today and see if the can give you something x

Nothing really helps. I don't know what else to try.

Congrats on the appointment!! I'll be 11 weeks and a few days for mine so a little.nit early too. It will fly!

I'm pretty sure it's prescription only in Ireland and it needs to be ordered from abroad by the pharmacist as it licensed here. It's also 40 euro a weeks supply! But I'd still pay it considering!
I'll be travelling to Spain tomorrow, no prescription needed over there and will stock up when returning home. 17 euro a box so a lot cheaper too.

I have a birthday BBQ this afternoon. Let's see how I am.but I will probably have to skip it if I'm as bad all day as I was yesterday. Even woke up with cut lips from the dehydration...
 
Well since eating helps my nausea i have came to a all you can eat world buffet lol ](*,) goin to be 10stone heavier at this rate lol
 
That all you can eat might of been a bad idea... i am now suffering with bad bloating which seems to be a normal thing at night now :( anyone any tips on how to get rid of this horrid feelin lol
