Marlow Rose is HOME!

I only have like two mins between breast feeds (well the next one..)...so sorry if this is a short post..

Marlow Rose came home from the NICU on Monday!!! She's doing just amazing!! She is fully breast feeding, sleeping well...and just such an easy happy girl. Her big brother is great with her and we are all pretty pleased she's home!!

I know I haven't actually officially introduced her, but I know many of you know her already! She was born at 34.3 weeks (actually 33.4 but we deny it..) weighing 5.6lbs. She didn't require any interventions like oxygen or even IV, but had a day getting a tan....she is fully breast feeding now that she is home. But will bottle, but she is still hanging on bit of her brady issues that she had in the NICU and turned blue on me last night while having her second bottle since coming home....she is ok though.

But we will be sticking ONLY to breast from now on!!!!!

She came home weighing 6.4lbs!

Lakai actually really likes her which is amazing since he has never really cared for babies, he is scared of them. Cries when they cry, and though he isn't trying to be her best friend when she cries (which only happens at bum changes and baths! lol) he will rub her head and watches us very carefully to make sure we aren't doing anything wrong...he he. He also kissed her on the head today without being prompted...so sweet.

So overall its been awesome having her home and everything has ran smoothly!

That last picture is so very precious, it brings a tear to my eye.

You have such a beautiful family and it is obvious the apples haven't fallen far from the tree.

I think back to the conversations we had here a long time ago about the chances of a second bubba and the struggles you had with it, that just makes Marlow Rose that extra bit special.
