My uncle's mom just passed away and her name was Martha. I never would have considered it but then I thought if she were my grandmother I would love to honor her as she was a special woman. Her maiden name was lovely...Martha Elizabeth Callan. Such a classy name for a classy lady.

My (now this gets complicated so keep up lol) hubby's mum's hubby's sister......phew.....is called Martha. She is 18 and loves it! We had considered it as a middle name to try to work that side of the family in...they have been really good to me and hubby despite there being no other relation apart from a marriage 3 years ago!
