maternity clothes!! argh!

hey! i am 13 weeks and i need to find a purple maternity top for work. it has to be purple and im at my wits end, i cant find anything!

anyone know any websites or shops with a good variety of things?

Amazon has a good selection but unfortunately you can't try it on. What particular style are you looking for?

If you can't find something maternity, consider getting something sized too large for you that can be taken in at the arms and shoulders.

Something stretchy in a jersey-type fabric would be easy enough to do if you know anyone who sews, it should be fairly inexpensive to get it done at a tailor's too.

I've done this to some of my own clothes and it's literally a matter of pinning, sewing a line of stitches, and trimming the seams - provided the garment is knit fabric.

Or you could consider getting an empire waisted dress that's purple and roomy, and hemming it into a shirt.
