I look crap in all my maternity clothes as I've just been going for plain tees and jeans. I do have 1 lovely maternity top which I will miss post baby lol! I was wondering what does everyone else have and where do you shop? I need some advice  I'm not especially gifted in the clothes shopping area lol xx

I have a pair of jeans, a pair of cords and a couple of plain T's - I keep squeezing into my old jumpers and look a right mess, but I cannot be bothered and don't want to spend to much money on stuff I wont get much use out of. I also have a couple of baggy shirt type things that look ok.

I fine most of my old cardie's still fit, so they look quite nice over the T's - and my older long sleeved T's fit ok underneath and the long mat T's cover up the gap between my belly and waist band

Currently I shop at KMart as they have cheap mat T's - or at places that sell tunics/shirt styles that go over the bump.
No idea how I'm going to cope as I get even bigger!

I was lucky enough that my OH's mother has recently had a baby, and she gave me all of her maternity clothes. Now she is bigger than me so the jeans don't fit right, but I have like 3 pairs of maternity pants. The shirts fit me. At first I was afraid to wear them because they made me look like I had a tummy, but now that my tummy has grown they make it look nice and rounded and I can show off my baby belly <3 I only bought one pair of maternity pants, and a bra. That's all that I have bought in terms of maternity wear because I would only get minor use out of them, and I can still fit my old pants, I just have to leave the button undone and I wear belly bands over top. I wear a lot of tshirts, although I've been trying to stop because I fear that people will judge me and think that I'm going to be a bad mom because they're all band t's!

I have just been wearing my usual clothes, because I haven't got that big.

But when I seen MW the other day she shouted at me because my jeans were digging into my belly.

I don't have very long left, and I don't see the point in buying something I wont wear again.

But OH said I need it. So I suppose I'll have to get some. I have enough trouble buying normal everyday clothes, I'm going to struggle with the limited amount of maternity clothes that's on offer!!

I've had a pretty crap time getting maternity stuff. My pre preg size is 18-20..so the choice seems to be a bit limited. I have to wear business wear for work and seriously struggled in my shirts, and only found one pair of Mat trousers that would fit.

I did find a stretchy wrap around dress in Mothercare that I seem to be living in now though.

I find new look, matalan and peacocks good for maternity clothes. I have to admit over the last few months i have got carried away with mat clothes, i now have 2 many lol

I bought about a dozen tops in the summer sales - really like some of them and felt like a whole new wardrobe at first but now I'm getting sick of the lot (and i've only been wearing maternity clothes for about 6-8 weeks!).

Have a pair of maternity jeans, 2 pairs of maternity work trousers and a couple of dresses.

Tried some mail order places like Blooming Marvellous but wasn't keen, thought the stuff was quite cheaply made and a hassle to return. Best places for me have been the maternity sections in Next, New Look and Dorothy Perkins.

Bought a Belly Band as well - useless for most trousers etc of mine but it does work quite well with one pair of normal jeans and I end up pretty much wearing them everyday

Sophie-Lou - might be worth a try? Can't buy them on amazon or new on ebay quite cheap. Although how on earth are you still fitting into normal clothes? I think i have quite a 'neat' bump and keep being told so and yet I am well past my normal clothes! Admittedly tho some would still be ok but I hate that riding up feeling and clothes feeling tight over my bump.

I bought loads of stuff on ebay, and I've sold most of it on ebay already as well! For example, I went to a wedding a few weeks ago and wore a brand new Mamas & Papas maxi dress that would have cost me about £80 from the store, but it only cost me £8.99 from ebay, brand new! I then sold it to a girl in Malaysia for more than I actually paid for it.

Other places that I've found good for maternity clothes are H&M and ASOS. H&M do the best maternity leggings!

ASOS, Topshop, H&M, DP, newlook and M&S have the best mat clothes IMO.

I didnt like New Look Mat range, they came up small on me, I bought a couple of the super sized dresses and lived in those. Same with a frock from Evans.

Mothercare has been my best shot, pricey for sure but sized very well I found.

I do need some new Mat pants though, all mine have been strecthed to bits and when wearing a dress and walking I can feel them falling down past my hips - not good when I come out of the petrol station with 2 cups of tea in my hand and I can't pull my drawers up!!

I gave up on maternity wear in the end as it was too pricey and didn't fit all that great, sometimes felt the clothes were too tight, so instead I've been getting larger/oversized tops, jogging bottoms, nighties etc in places like Asda and Matalan.
I can really recommend Matalan for nighties with the buttons down the front, I found a fab grey star-patterned nighty for only £5 and have been getting some fab tshirt-style tops and 3/4 length sleeve cardi tops from Asda for about £10 each. I also picked up a couple of pairs of comfy black jogging bottoms for £3 in Asda, don't be put off by the price being so cheap, I tried them on (2 sizes up from usual size) and they are so comfy over my bump and will do the job nicely. I also got all my big pants from Asda, same cost if not less than disposable ones, in black and white colours, black to hide leaks, white means I could bleach them or just throw away they were so cheap! I also got a couple of big baggy mens tshirts from there too for a few quid each, perfect for lounging around the house or hospital. You don't have to spend a fortune.

I got a lot of mamas and papas clothes on ebay, as was determined not to spend a fortune buying too much new. I got some real bargains and will probably sell a lot of it on again on ebay x

I'm living in leggings and maternity tunics, I can't bear to have anything tight around me atm so there is no way at all that I could wear jeans, oh and wrap dresses if I need to be smart. I've bought a few bits off ebay but also splashed out on a few things from Mama's and Papa's. Maternity departments on the whole are shockingly bad, I prefer the rock chick style (for want of a better description) but end up looking mumsy for the most part.

for mt first pregnancy i bought some stuff of ebay and mothercare. but i just looked rubbish. this time i splashed out in isabella oliver and their stuff is sooo flattering. I just bought four tops and wear them for work and at home. they are really versatile. And i live in them with my jeans and a couple of skirts i have too.

topshop have some nice vest tops 2 for £10 and dorothy perkins have some really nice long tops to wear with leggings aswell, i am still managing to fit in alot of my pre-pregnancy clothes as i mainly wore tops that were loose around my tummy anyway :) i have a pair of mat jeans from new look which i wear all the time and i found that my pre-pregnancy leggings still fit. x

i found some lovely tops in h and m button down so i can use them for feeding too x x
