Just wondering when you are meant to remove the foam wedge and the head higher? Is it at a certain age/weight?
Thanks

Hi, I'm not sure about age or weight limit on head hugger and wedge but I removed the foam wedge when she was probably about 6 months and then the head hugger support thing about 7 months. Her shoulder were getting the way of the head hugger. Hope that helps. Maybe try for one time and see how ur LO is in the seat. :flower:

I just removed it when lo could support her head properly and was looking a bit squashed :)

I had to take the wedge out when LO was quite young, a few weeks old, he just didnt fit in it properly!
I took the head hugger out a good couple of months ago.

He's rapidly outgrowing the plain seat itself now, I can only just squash his shoulders in if he's got a jumper or coat on and can't actually fit him in it with a snowsuit on lol!

I removed mine quite early too, maybe around 6 weeks because she looked really uncomfortable and squashed, she could already hold her head very well though so that wasn't a problem!

I removed the wedge when he was about 3 months old and took the head bit off about 2 weeks ago because his shoulders were all scrunched up trying to fit in it!
His head does end up on his shoulder when he is asleep but he's much happier not to be so constricted

Just an FYI, but you aren't supposed to put babies/children in the car seats with bulky coats or snowsuits on, as you can't tighten the straps up enough. In an impact the straps will not be tight enough for baby to be safe. x x
