May 2011 - 53 days and counting... (DUE DATES PG1)

Hey everyone, I'm behind I've had a terrible weekend. I was diagnosed Friday with a severe bladder infection & dehydration, My back on my right side was hurting non-stop so I went to see my Dr. and discovered this...I was nauseated, ran fever, chills, it was terrible..The antibiotic I was on got me constipated so bad I had cramps that made me to go the hospital Sunday night! I got put on an IV for fluids and more antibiotics in my system...Ughh its Tuesday and my back is still on fire..I am so ready for this pregnancy to be over!!!

Anybody ever had the baby laying on a nerve to hurt your back? I'm wondering if thats the issue with me..I think this infection should be gone by now!

I feel your pain! My baby's favourite activities are playing trampolines on my bladder and my sciatic nerve... and it discovered my ribs today so that's going to be fun!

Baby is lying and pressing on my sciatic nerve which is bloody painful and now my right hip is starting to stiffen up because of this too. X

Ouch! I have been getting sciatic nerve pain too in my right hip, its horrid! Hope you feel better soon.XX

Blessed- sorry about your bad weekend, hope you feel better soon. I get really bad back pain when my little one lays on a nerve. Doesn't surprise me as I had horrible sciatica for a couple months in third trimester with my last child.

How are the may mummies doing today? I've had quite a stressful start to the week. Just found out that I have hydronephrosis in the one kidney I have left and got a scan to check the baby as I'm still not feeling regular movements with my anterior placenta. Baby is still breech and with my heart shaped uterus the chances of him turning now are about 1%.

Means a section is looking really likely now, rather than me getting induced around 38 weeks. Just keep telling myself it'll be totally worth it.

Blessedtwice huge kidney infections/problems are horrible I totally feel your pain.

Miss Cakes I'll either be having a section or if this monkey turns by some miracle I'll be getting induced. I don't have a date yet but my consultant said it'll be around 38 weeks supposedly to reduce the chance of me going into labour on my own.

This is my first, and so far so good-- lots of nausea during the first trimester, the second trimester was a little better, and these days I'm feeling pretty good about everything! I'm just anxious for the little guy to arrive! I think I've started to get that "nesting" feeling.... I want to clean a lot, and garden!! Just waiting for the snow to melt here in Massachusetts!

Glad to hear everything is good!! I'm cleaning mad too, I finish work on 16th march so that means even more time for cleaning haha! No chance of gardening though, had quite a lot of rain where I am in scotland and our garden looks like a swamp now! This is my first too and although I'm so excited to meet my little girl, I'm getting slightly nervous now as I just don't know what to expect. Xxx
