MAY testers???

I would love twins! The thought of double everything used to terrify me. But having two babies when trying sooooo hard just to get one would be a HUGE BLESSING and a lot of fun!

:-)

Yeah with such a strong positive I've read that happens with twins! I'm secretly hoping that maybe with clomid ill have twins. The thought of triplets really makes me nervous but I think twins would be amazing!

I have a question for you ladies (sorry in advanced for TMI) I always lay down after BD'ing, but I feel like I still lose a lot of sperm. Do any of you ladies have this problem? I always worry that it all leaked out and I should of stood on my head or something. HAHAH! I'm just wondering if its normal to have a lot leak out. I usually go to bed after, but I always wake up alittle while later just feeling wet and sticky like it all leaked out.

wow, so much going on so fast. So hard to keep up.

I'm just over here :coffee: waiting for my withdrawl bleed. And I don't think it's going to happen. I was on progesterone last month for over 2 weeks but it made me crazy and so I had to go off of it. which caused a bleed. and it was pretty light compared to most of my periods. doc said my lining was thin (which was good). So I took provera again for 8 days to induce another bleed faster as I didn't want to wait out a regular 35 day cycle. I tried to google about this but couldn't find anything.

today I was asking a different question and some sites came up that said if your lining is thin provera won't induce a cycle. So now I am sitting here thinking if one will even come. do I wait for 2 weeks as it can take that long (although I have been consistent with 3 days past my last pill that it comes) or do I just start the provera knowing I haven't ovulated and so there is no chance of pregnancy. There are some docs that start these drugs without a withdrawl bleed if lack of ovulation and no pregnancy is confirmed.

Wannabe: It is totally normal for stuff to leak out. it's a lot of fluid for such a tiny space. and don't worry about it. The pressure from the ejaculations makes sure that all the good guys are up where they need to be and the stuff that leaks out is usually the not so good guys.

I used to lay with my hips up or bottom up if we did it another way  for maybe 10 minutes ish. Then I would go clean up. I don't like the sticky feeling. Lots of women clean right away. My sister's doc said that was fine too.

So, I need your opinions ladies! We have been ntnp for a year. I am currently breastfeeding so u do not have a period. About 3 weeks ago we started really trying and I have been taking daily opks. I got my first positive on April 19. I was shocked because I was convinced o wasn't even ovulating. I had some cramping around ovulation. We bd'd at the perfect timing. Fast forward to today. I had some cramping this morning. I have just noticed I have brown spotting. I did not have implantation bleeding with my daughter. I feel like this is a little more than what you would expect with implantation. Does the timing seem tight for implantation bleeding? Or could this be the start of my first pp period? I'm no longer cramping. I have pictured my first pp to be awful and have tons of cramping. Either way I am happy so that I can start to track ovulation or it would be great to get a positive with my first month trying!

WannaBe. You are not alone !

I usually lay still, for like 10-20 mins or if we BD at bed time , I just sleep thru it and wipe off the access about a hour after.

Like Aayla said , it's extra for a reason. And most of it is prolly semen and dead sperms. Trust me. The ones that wanna make up up there do lol

You should be fine ! As long as you aren't running marathons right after BD or douching :-)

Hi! Can I join? We are trying for number 2. I'm still breastfeeding but got my first af on 18th April. I have no idea if my cycle will be like before (unlikely I guess!) but if it is then I will be testing on May 13th. Just started OPKs today as unsure when I will ovulate.

Really excited to be TTC again but it took 18 months to get that BFP last time so don't have high hopes of a quick one!

Good luck to everyone :)

Thanks Aalya and BabyC! That put a little ease to my running wild mind!

I've been having what I believe are o pains since last night! Its only on my left side and my BB's hurt slightly (not like AF is coming) so we are just going to BD until AF comes or we get a BFP. I have more hope now, because if these are o pains, then I ovulated later than I thought! Still have a chance to get all that baby dancing!

Who else is testing on the 7th?

Hey GasGirl !

Welcome ! Im sure getting back on track after baby 1# is tricky. Just try your best to stay focused with the eyes on the prize ! That's hoe you got your first little one !

Did you try anything special for your first pregnancy ? Tips ? Suggestions!

Wannabe I've heard some ladies use soft cups after BDing. Ive never tried them but I don't think they are necessary.

Mcrobinson I've never had implantation bleeding so I'm not sure what it's like. But the timing does sound about right.

Hi gasgirl! It was comforting to hear that you do conceive after 18 months. I've been trying for almost two years for our first. I second any tips or what you did different when you did conceive?

Also I just realized ill be testing a few days after Mothers Day I may have to bump up my test date!

Dogmommy that upcoming mothers day makes me nervous and excited at the same time!! I hope we all get good news!

Hi ladies! Can I join you! I'll be testing in May, haven't worked out what date yet though! I think I've just ovulated but will have to wait a few days for fertility friend to confirm it! I got my first positive OPK yesterday and a nice temp spike this morning. I'll share my chart with you ladies, let me know what you think!!

Thanks for the welcome ladies!

BabyC and dogmummy, we didn't do anything particularly different. Earlier on when trying I had cut down to minimal caffeine, made sure I was eating loads of fruit and veg, staying active (lots of walking) and staying positive.

I had stopped doing OPKs ages before because I never seemed to get a line at all however faint. I'd also given up on temperatures and was just documenting af and cm. We had been referred to a sub-fertility clinic and were awaiting our referral letter and decided to forget about it all for a week and go on holiday to the Lake District. We wined and dined ourselves and just relaxed, went on lots of walks then hey presto the next month (despite only having time to bd once) I was pregnant! I think the forgetting it and relaxing was the main thing (so much easier to say rather than to do!) I have a stressful job which doesn't help either. I make more of an effort to relax than I used to which I'm hoping will help this time.

mcrobinson, I had implantation bleeding and thought it was af but was lighter than what I would have expected and more brown old blood than fresh red (sorry if TMI!). I had taken a test before and it was a BFN but thought it was a bit of an odd af and took another test and it was BFP.

Good luck to everyone trying! One thing my doc said to me was that by a year of trying 85% of couples fall pregnant, by two years it's 93% and by three years it's 99%. Some people just take a bit longer than others (still feels pretty pants getting that af every month when you've been trying for ages :( though )

You can take me off for the the first of may. Af got me :( kinda bitter sweet though because it's my first pp period after 17 months. I was so hopeful though because I had my first positive opks and our timing was so good. Af came a week early if you go by my ovulation date. That's weird for me. But I'm happy it's back so I now I can really start ttcing! I'm thinking I'm not out for may and should be testing around the 22nd. So please put me down!

Sorry to hear that mcrobinson, that's a real bummer. I think breastfeeding can really knock things off-kilter but as you say good that it is back so you can start TTC in ernest. Great that you're staying positive!

Lots of baby dust to you x :dust:

Phew, just caught up on everything!

AliJo - congrats! I got pg on the first try with my DD, but this is cycle 3 trying for baby #2.

mrs unicorn - what a crazy dream! I actually dreamed the other night that I had second child and that it was clear I didn't love it as much as my first. It didn't get much attention, and I didn't feel much for it. I guess I'm subconsciously worried about having a hard time loving a second one as much as I love my daughter! I know this must be a common, and totally unfounded fear.

mcrobinson - wow, 17 PP before AF shows up! Lucky (sort of - not so lucky if you want to TTC before then). I got mine back at 8 months PP. I'm still nursing my 2.5 year old though. :)

CD16 here and no temp rise yet. Hopefully tomorrow because I don't think we'll BD tonight. We BD at 3:30 am Sunday morning when DH got home from work, and again at 10pm. I completely forgot about OPKs. I'll try to do one this afternoon if I can remember.

Wannabe yes they put them in after bd to keep more in. I've heard success stories with them but not sure if they really do help tho.

Belle fingers crossed for all of us!

Hi wouldluvabub! Good luck!

Afm 1 dpo!!

Mcrobinson - sorry dear, but glad you can still be a lucky may tester!

Dogmommy - GL dear!
