Sorry to hear bumbleberry! Thats so disappointing!
Welcome Yo-yo!
Well, my temp rose a little bit again today. Usually by 11 dpo my temps start going down or stay stable. I've never shown a slow rise at the end of my chart like this, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Seems like there is a new sign every month that I get excited about and I still get BFNs lol.
So tomorrow is supposed to be my 12 dpo test day, but I'm honestly feeling too nervous to test!! It's also a Monday which is one of my toughest days at work, so I'm not sure if I can take a BFN on top of that!
AK: tbh it sounds like af came but was late, which can happen. IB would have happened about 10dpo give or take. Most women don't get it and it is actually rare.
I had IB with my DD1 and with 2 of my m/c's.
I'm out as AF had arrived earlier than expected but it means I still get to test again in May (27th) x
3 dpo here and already fighting the urge to start testing tomorrow. The DH's bday is next Saturday at 9 dpo.... was really hoping to be able to test by then but it's going to be really early to know for sure![]()
BabyC: of all of that it's the juicing that I am concerned about. Juice is just the sugar of the fruit. You are getting no fibre in it at all and no substance. Most of the vitamins are in the flesh of the fruit. Be very careful about dropping your calories too low. You don't want to go under 1200 in a day and that is already pushing it to an extreme.
What exactly is "in shape" for you? Lose 10-20 lbs or actually be fit? Are you exercising? if so, what? if not, why not? You are giving your self 26 days to do this. It's not impossible to lose a good amount of weight and inches in that time. But you need to do it right and starving yourself is not the way to go. In about a week of your plan, you will probably get bored. I can come up with a plan for you no problem that will give you more variety.
oh and do you have pcos and/or are you insulin resistant?
Cutting out the junk is great and doing that on its own will likely give you the changes you need. nutrient wise choosing juice over something like pop is good but not great. sugar wise they are identical. Portion control is also a key thing. Most people will find they aren't eating enough veggies and protein, a little too much fruit (sometimes) and way too many simple, and even complex, carbs. and a lot of people aren't eating enough.
if you want to get "toned" (which means gaining muscle) you need to lift weights. Do workouts that incorporate either your body weight (push ups, pull ups, squats etc) or use dumb bells and for added oomph use both. Long gone are the days of cutting calories, eating low fat and only doing "cardio." You also need to eat. muscles need fuel and food is fuel.
I'm not sure how much you weigh or what you are doing for working out (if anything) but I suspect you would be in the 1500-1799 calorie range of a program I have followed with great success. Here is the portion control program of it.
4 servings of veggies (1 serving = 1 cup)
3 servings of fruit (1 servings = 1 cup, or 1 med orange, or 1 med banana)
4 servings of protein (1 serving = 3/4 cup, or 2 eggs, or 3 slices of turkey bacon)
3 servings of carbs (1 serving = 1/2 cup, or 1/2 english muffin, or 1 slice whole wheat bread)
1 serving of healthy fats (1 serving = 1/4 cup) items in this category include cheese, avocado, nuts and hummus. Nuts aren't usually measured out in cup form but in the amount of nuts. for example 12 almonds, 8 cashews, 14 peanuts. I have found nuts aren't worth it because you don't get a lot. I would rather eat cheese or avocado.
1 servings of dressings and seeds (1 serving = 3 TBS)
6 tsp (this is for your oils, like olive oil or peanut butter).
Eat like this every day, combined with 30 minutes of moderate activity (preferably using weights) and you will see amazing results in 21 days. I lost 8lbs and 7.5 inches in my first 21 days and I didn't even follow it perfectly. This is usually the way I eat (I'm in a higher calorie bracket though) no matter what I am doing for working out. Tomorrow I start a hybrid of hip hop abs and brazil butt lift.
This is my dream job (outside of being a singer but I'm not going to be a touring artist any time soon). I love helping people reach their weight and fitness goals. I struggle with weight and while I know exactly what it is that will make me succeed, I struggle with will power a lot of days. some days I succeed, some I don't. But even if I can't always reach my goal, I'm happy if I can help someone reach theirs.
