Hmm I usually shave it all off, all these pregnancy programs they all seem to be unshaven and I'm thinking maybe the midwives find it weird with nothing there? I was completely shaven last time. But I just don't know! All u ladies whousually shave will u also be for delivery?! I don't think I could let myself grow it haha! X

I will be shaven haven! Have let it go a bit since not being able to see the vajayjay but when that first contraction hits my lady shave will be out! Lol xz

Haha yes ive noticed that, i usually lop the lot off too cant stand hair down there makes me feel dirty, i had about a week re-growth with my DS (cringe) lol so this time i plan on goin for a wax, my friend had it done n said it didnt hurt! Hair is just a no no for me lol

Yeah, I always shave, use a mirror now, and am not even considering growing it!! Not that there's anything wrong with it, just not my style and definitely don't want to change that.

i usually shave most of it and just leave a strip well trimmed but i was concerned that if i need stitches it will be very sore plus i would have that itchy regrowth as wont be able to shave for a week or 2 after so i was thinking of just keeping it all trimmed very short and not shaved (also dont want it to long as i assume it will get messy down there)

the midwives couldn't care less how much hair you do/don't have down there. They have seen it all before anyway.
However, I would be wary of shaving it all off (although I don't anyway) as the thought of stitches and stubble is not a good one if you ask me. I'll be just doing a bit of a hairdressing job with a pair of scissors.

I don't really like the idea of being completely shaven at birth, I'll be exposed enough! But I will definately jump in the bath to neaten up at the 1st signs!!

I had stitches and re-growth n it was never an issue for me as that area was torn n a lil stretched so hair doesnt grow directly in that part lol. Just so ya no ;)

in that case i may be doing my usually and shaving the majority off, my only concern was itch regrowth over stitches just sounded ouchy

As far as i remember i didnt itch at all, foof was too swollen to even worry about itching haha x

i usually whip it all off and keep it completely gone but since i can no longer see and my sex life has been none existant for the past 2 months its now a once every 2 weeks thing. so if i have time before going into hospital i'll shave if not well....tough lol i was thinking of getting a wax a week before but i tend to react really badly to waxing on my legs so im thinking, no....

Earlier in my pregnancy I thought that I would have to shave down there or wax or something in fear of being like embarrassed or whatever, but now I just want this baby out and I don't really care anymore LOL I'll be going into labor and deliver with henry the beaver between my legs and if they want to shave me go ahead because I ain't bothering with it.

I feel the SAME way at this point!

Been shaving it all off blind for weeks and weeks now lol Will be doing so right up to the birth. I don't think the midwives mind, I have heard that if it's very long and bushy and they need to stitch they shave it anyway so may as well save them that thankless job lol!

When you're in labour you really won't care what you look like, who's there, what they're doing etc! I know it seems hard to believe (even I can't believe it at the moment!) but it was definitely true for me first time around!

This time (and I think last time - can't even remember!) I've just done a scissor trim job. I never shave down there, only wax - and I'm not getting down to any waxing now so the scissors will have to do! Just keeping it trimmed fairly regularly ready for whenever the event begins!!

I also agree with the person who said to be totally shaved/waxed might leave you feeling a little over-exposed if you are aware of it at the time!
