MC 11/14 and BFP today!!!????!

I miscarried on 11/14 at 5 weeks. My doctor told me I wouldn't be able to conceive for a couple of months. My body needed to get back to normal. All of my symptoms have vanished so I decided last week to take a test to make sure all the hCG was gone and the test was negative. But my breast seem to be getting larger so I decided to test this morning and to my surprise, I got a BFP on a FRER. I know you cant get a false positive but OMGosh, has anyone had this happen to them? I'm overly joyed and of course, nervous. Last time when I got pregnant, I had so many symptoms and this time my breast are a little sore and large and I'm a little more hungry but its nothing like what I felt last time. Has anyone had any positive outcomes from conceiving right after a m/c?

Congratulations! I miscarried on nov 15th at 5 weeks as well. NTNP until I get my first normal period but secretly hoping it doesn't come and I get a BPF soon.

Have you had any negative tests since the MC? If you haven't had a confirmed negative, it could be hormonal remnants from your prior pregnancy. (It took me months to finally clear out).

If you HAVE tested negative, then congratulations! I've heard that most women actually are more fertile in the months immediately following a MC.

Yes, I had a negative test last week and then a (strong) positive one this morning. I'm planning on testing again in a few hours to see how the test comes out. I would assume though, if it was from my miscarriage, I would have had some sort of positive test last week even if it was later in the day that I tested. My cycles are very regular and I was very early in my last pregnancy when I miscarried so I guess my body treated it like a period and I was back to normal and ovulating within two weeks?... A woman's body is DEFINITELY a wonder world..

If you've had a negative test, then today's positive isn't a hormonal remnant! Immediate pregnancies aren't unheard of. Congratulations!

I had a natural mc on 26/10. Tested negative on 11/11 then BFP on 28/11, hope our beans are sticky ones

Thank you!!! I hope so too! I just took another test and it was as dark as the first one and came up just as fast so I know this isn't "old" hormones Yay for the both of us!!!!
