I went to the doctor last week after some mild bleeding and cramping. I usually have very strong monthlies, thats why I say mild. The doctor said he saw that the pg was coming loose and that i would have to expect to mc that evening or the next day. I was roughly 6wks. That evening the bleeding and cramping stopped. There has been nothing since. Its been 6 days. I mourned my pregnancy and am totally prepared to wait for nature to take its course. The only thing is I cant help myself to get my hopes up again. My pg symptoms have reduced a lot but are still not all gone, i still have sore bb and nausea. Anyone experience this type of mc? I am thinking that my body might have absorbed or might still be holding on.
Should I call my doctor again? I feel a bit silly asking him for yet another scan. He knows we have a very strong baby wish and might think Im going a bit mad. He was quite clinical and decided after the last scan. Would a HPT give me any clear answer? I could do another one and see if its still positive or is it too soon, will I just be getting a positive result from the previous one?
Any advice is welcome as this saga has been going on for about 3 wks now so you can imagine im not as clear headed about this as i should be.

Wow you poor thing, so sorry you are having all this trouble and confusion:hugs:

If your Dr knows you have been going through all of this, then I am sure he wouldn't mind doing another scan to make sure everything is OK. Who cares if he thinks your crazy, anyone who has been through what you have in the past 3 weeks would be a little off as well.
I think I am going nuts about 4 times a week. Your body is telling you to talk to your DR. so give him or her a call and see what they say.
Best wishes for you and yours

Sorry to hear this hun.

Your doctor should be scanning you anyway to make sure everything has passed. Get on the phone to him.

I would take another hpt to check you are not still pregnant. I was told I mc but still had all the symtoms and low and behold I was still pregnant (along had an ectpoic two weeks later.)

It might not be bad news. TEST! XXXXX

I agree with Mazza2003 on this one too, if your test is still a strong postive then call and book another scan. They (DR & GP)can be wrong more often then we want to admit. Best of luck

Hi, Ive done the HPT but was negative. I think I can assume my pg is now officially over and I can stop kidding myself. I lost my 1st pregnancy, thankfully without much pain. The only thing I can think of now is I want to get pregnant again. When should I expect my next monthlies as the brown blood initially started about 3 weeks ago and the red blood about 10days. Would the 4 days that I was bleeding red last early last week count as my monthlies? It took us a long time to get pregnant and I hear you are very fertile in the first few months after a pregnancy or mc. I am afraid of another mc though. What are the odds of it happening again?

Not sure of the statistics on this happening again. So sorry for your loss:hug:
I have heard your more fertile after MC and birth.

A friend gave me some words of wisdom on here a couple of weeks ago. She said the future is amazing and sometimes a scary place, as we don't know what it holds.

So to worry or be afraid after what we have all been through is only natrual. Dont give up on your dreams of being a family or a Mom. Don't let this break you, OK!!
:hugs::hugs::hugs: for you, this will happen for you I know it!!

hi there. Yes you can be more fertile after a MC. I am not sure where you would start the counting from. If I were you I would maybe use OPKs to determine where in your cycle you are and if you are Oing? It may take a month or so for your body to get back to normal. I guess if you are trying to catch any post MC fertility you could try BDing every other day. I would also recommend pre seed.
You are being very brave, just make sure emotionally you are ready to try again. I dont mean that to sound patronising. I feel the same and I am a week after having an ectopic and I cant wait to get going again!
