I'm stepping over here a day early. Now that I'm finally feeling better and can eat properly, I'm trying to keep track of what I'm eating. I'm not restricting myself and I'm following Canada's Food Guide, but I've always tracked my food and I don't want to get out of the habit of it. I'm just wondering if anyone else is doing this, and what is the minimum calorie range you should be aiming for in third tri? I have a fitbit so track my steps and calories burned, etc. Because the app I use is aimed for weight loss, it has me at 1500 calories a day. I think this is way too low for this far along in pregnancy. Thoughts? I'm going to ask my OB on Tuesday, but just wanted to know what you're doing.

My doc recommends about 300 more calories a day than usual unless you were underweight before (in which case it would be about 500 more a day)
I don't track my calories anymore but when I did this was not much more than an extra yogurt and a half a sandwich a day (so an extra small meal a day)
"1,900-2,500 calories a day for the last 6 months. "
