Measles??

This may sound as if i'm over-reacting but just how contagious is measles??

My friends little girls school has reported they have measles, now my friend wants to meet me and LO this week.
Her little girl has no signs of measles and has had her MMR, am i over-reacting by not wanting to meet her? Or is there still a risk catching them?

Im not 100% sure hun, maybe you could give your surgery or HV a quick call just for your peace of mind, if you dont feel comfortable dont go hun. Your a new mummy, do whatever feels best for you. x

Her little girl should beo ok as she had the MMR , but i would talk to your HV or docter just give them a quick call as measles is something your LO really doesnt need.
