measuring ahead?

at my appt yesterday my dr said my uterus is right below my belly button, she said my uterus is the size of 16 weeks preggo she said its not a big deal aty all and it doesnt change anything, anyone else had this experience??

I had my 20 weeks scan this week at 20+4 but all my measurements are showing 22+6!

When it comes to fundal measurement...when they measure your belly...they don't really get concerned unless you are measure 4+weeeks ahead since everyone carries different and anatomy is different. in my case I am measuring a good 8 weeks ahead and by doing ultra sound found out not only is it a big boy but I also have a condition where I have too much amniotic fluid. I had this last time to. hope that helps!

At my 16 week midwife appointment she didn't measure but had a feel and said she wouldn't be surprised if I was ahead in my dates but at my 20 week scan I was only 1 day ahead from what I thought.

Fundal measurement is affected by your stature and size before pregnancy, it's more the pattern that's important.
