measuring small for dates.help please from 3rd tri!!

I was sent for a growth scan with my 1st son as i was measuring a few weeks small and was told he would be small (about 6lbs). When he was born he was 7lb 9oz but very long and skinny so he must just have looked small on the scan. The measurements and scans can only 'guestimate' the babies size so i wouldnt worry too much. Babies who are small can also be perfectly healthy but just small and they usually catch up quickly.
