Meat?

When did u start feeding ur baby meat?

Was it from a jar? fresh? how did u prepare etc?

Are there any meat eaters here who arent feeding LO meat? and for what reasons?

Colton hasnt really ate meat yet. He's had bits off our plates (so fresh), but for some reason the jars always give him the runs. So.. no jars here.

I only started weaning a few weeks ago...and tbh don't have a clue how to make fresh meat...so i tried some meat from a tin...(my God it didn't agree with him) Im going to carry on using meat from a tin until i know how to cook it properly xx

I buy meat thats made here in quebec (home made) and he loves it allot , the jar stuff didnt agree with him at all hes had : beef, veal, pork, chicken

I'm going to offer Alasdair meat at 6 months I am probably going to encourage him to eat it as a finger food though as it's such a different texture.

Ruby's been having meat since she was about 5 months, fish when she turned 6 months and loves it, all home made meals done in the blender although we've starting weaning her onto mashed food.

my lo has just turned 5 months & i am not weaning her just yet..
Spoken to health visitor and she is happy that lo isnt ready yet.

I am just trying to find out what/when i should start on when shes ready

here we're advised poultry from 6 motnhs, lamb from 7, fish from 9 and beef from 10 months.
