do i have to sterilise the tube bit?

i have only steralised my tube bit once in 2 weeks, at the hosp they said that bit didnt need done at all, but i think ill pop it in once a week or so just to be sure

nope... its only air that goes through that tube to make the suction, the milk doesnt touch it.

It says somewhere in the instructions to let it air if you see any condensation inside, but ive never had any.

No it doesn't come into contact with anything but air.
