Membrane Sweep?

When do they normally do these? is it only when your over due or is it before than as well.. I did have one with my first at about 38 weeks but i had some issues and we were trying to bring on labor as fast as possible before an induction was necessary (i did end up getting induced) and i have my 38 week appointment tomorrow so i am not sure if they will do a sweep or not, i have been having some issues this time to (high blood pressure) So any ways was just wondering when everyone else got a sweep done and how long after the baby was born

I have one booked for Monday and I will be 39+3. My doc wouldn't do it till 39 weeks.

Not much help but my midwife has me booked in for one at 41weeks and i hope it brings on labor quick if hes still not here! stalking this thread!! x

Thanks i was pretty sure that they didnt do it tell closer tell the due date hehe, i will ask them today when they will do it

Sooo i did end up getting a sweep done today, but nothing so far hmmm
