Do certain things bring back good/bad/bittersweet memories of your relationship? Lately, I've noticed certain things make my heart pound and think of FOB...

- Matlock (a little town near me). FOB's family live here. We used to spend hours driving round. Now, my first aid course is in Matlock, and my heart pounds every time. The memories are good on the surface, and make me sad, but deeper down, they're scary and full of abuse. Matlock is very hilly, it's in the countryside, the roads can be very dangerous, and not for dickhead drivers like FOB. He used to drive like a maniac on purpose (with a pregnant me), and if we argued he'd drive really close to the edge of the road so you could see very clearly how steep it is, and say 'I could easily kill us you know'. Scared me to death.

- Eating weetabix and cornflakes together He did this all the time... And I've not touched either since for some reason.

- Little silver cars. He had a silver saxo. They make my anxious.

There's probs more, but I should be doing homework right now Does anyone have anything like this, or is it just me? x

Some tv shows make me feel that sick way because it just takes me back to being with him. xx

so many things, i'm waiting for him to come and get his stuff out of our house and i've started packing some of it up and every time i start i have to stop because i just end up in tears thinking of all the happy times we had together. i even hate it that i won't get any more simple texts from him just saying silly things like 'love you'

Yeah Hun! Loads of things, like tv programs and sayings we used to laugh about together!
Clothes, smells, foods all bring back memories!!
Wish they didn't but it's only been 6 months since he left and I am getting stronger!

My ex looked like Oli Murrs. I'm not just saying that, people used to stop him in the street to tell him all the friggin time. Since we split, I can't see Oli Murrs on tv, hear him on the radio, anything. I get this sense of panic because memories just rush back and I have to change it INSTANTLY because I don't want to face the feelings. I can't go to his town, I get flashbacks of things that happened on certain streets, places, etc. Can't watch certain tv programmes, listen to certain songs, wear certain perfume (reminds me of past gifts). It's pretty horrible really. But, I just avoid these things well. LOL.

ceartain songs remind me of him and whever my phone goes off my heart jumps incase its him im annoyed at myself cos still half hope he will text me even though he's a waste of space

FOB is the image of one of the characters from Glee. I can't watch it now without being reminded of him.
