Has anyone experienced a feeling that you are about to start your period sort of like a crampy feeling?

I'm 25 weeks and i'm afraid I might be going into preterm labor

anyone help?

The only experience I have was a couple weeks ago I was feeling "crampy", like period cramps. Turns out I had a mild UTI and the doctor said that is what caused the cramps. Maybe give your health care professional a call.

I've had those quite frequently with my 1st baby. I believe it must've been my uterus growing because I not only didn't go into preterm labor, we went past 40 weeks. I haven't experienced it with my 2nd and 3rd..so maybe the uterus had to stretch out the first time? I don't know..I've also heard these cramps might happen when you're dehydrated but I don't know about that (I've been dehydrated with all my pregnancies so that wouldn't make sense but it might be still worth a try to up the liquid intake a bit?)
At any rate it'd be good to ask your ob/midwife just to put your mind at ease! Hope it's nothing serious just a sign of the LO growing fast and needing greater room inside! :)

I tend to get some premenstrual like symptoms when I would usually have my periods, but it passes. I do regularly feels crampy and dull pains is abdomen and doc says it is the muscles stretching and preparing and responding to growth of uterus. So far, so good...

im feeling like that right now, got what feels like PMT to go with them!!...felt like this for 2 days now but apparently its normal throughout pregnancy just dont remember them with my other 3 pregnancies...x

Lulu35...I think we got pregnant on the same day! haha!
