Metformin Question:)

I was TTC for 1.5 years when I started metformin. My cycles were anywhere from 32-72 days long - even bled for line 50 days strait ine cycle (right before being diagnosed with PCOS).

Metformin seemed to regulate my cycles immediately, and i did get a BFP after 3 or 4 cycles

Hello Feb4th - Here's my story ... My DH and I are somewhat LTTC ... we were kind of trying and then not trying again. We're dealing with PCOS & Low Sperm Count. I was put on Metformin in April. And DH just started getting healthy. Took a lot of vitamins (USANA) and exercised daily. He lost 25lbs.

August 15th, we found out we were pregnant!!!! We were over the moon. This means, I ovulated on my own in July, 3 months after taking metformin. And I did read that it usually takes 3 to 6 months for metformin to work.

Unfortunately, our little bean didn't make it past 7 weeks. Lost it just yesterday. We're excited to try again.

You're not alone. We're all on the same boat .... we all want that precious little baby. Big hugs!!! Yay for Metformin.

I'm so sorry to hear about you loss Mrs.Compass... I wont even pretend to understand what your going through...:hugs: Did the Dr. have you stay on the Metformin while you were pregnant?

I have heard amazing things about USANA vitamins, they rate super high for their absorbency. Tons of brand name vitamins go in and "out" almost with no change in shape.

I hope you have another BFP real soon. Xx
