Did the metformin help you produce EWCM or was it the clomid?

It was the clomid, but this didn't happen every time, a couple of cycles I was on it there wasn't any at all.

I was put on it for PCOS.

I think it depends on the doc. My doc was a big proponent of met. He said I had some PCOS symptons even thought I didnt have them all he still went ahead and put me on it. Unfortunatly the first go it just made me to sick. This time around not near as much I am on 500 mg per day next week I go up to 1000 mg. Hopefully that doesnt make me get sick all over again.

I've been on 500mg for the past 2 weeks and I didn't feel to bad on them but today I've started 1000mg and i feel awful, sick and diarrhea (TMI sorry).
Side effects are suppose to wear off tho.

The FS said I have possible PCOS

Thanks pusskins so looking forward to jumping up to 1000!!!! That is what i had the first few days of 500 and now it has gotten better.

Im cd 1 today, my last cycle was 17 days but my af wasn't a normal flow.

Is that normal whilst taking metformin and going up a dose?
Is my body working at last?

I have a question for you ladies! My doctor prescribed to me metformin awhile ago, i don't know why though, so i took it for about a month and then just stopped cause i really don't know why i did, but i did..hahah..anyways i have basically diagnosed myself with PCOS, i have all the symptoms just haven't made it into the doctors for them to actually finalize it..So now i just filled my prescription again, i'm not sure what the dosage is on it, but i'm in a middle of a cycle right now, should i wait for the beginning of a new cycle or should i just take it now??? I believe when my doctor prescribed it to me, she said i can take it right away but i'm not 100% that she did say that..I look forward to hearing your reply's!!! xoxox

yeah just start is as soon as you get it,
start off with one tablet a day then build it up to two tablets in 2 weeks and carry on like so.

Thank You! Ya i'm supposed to take half a tablet once a day for a week and then 2 half tablets twice aday and then so on

Mine are 500mg a tab.
I'm on 4 tabs a day and i hate it, makes me feel like sh*t

Sorry took so long to reply.
My side affects have been awful. Hate being on them.
I went to the GP yesterday and told them that i feel like shit and she put me on slow release metformin.

Anyone one heard or are taking them too?

I have heard of taking those and consider it myself but now my symptoms are doing OK although only up to 1000 need to get to 2000 so might consider it then. I have heard they work.

Ok, sorry i made a mistake my pills are only 500 so when i'm at my dosage thats when it will be 750mg...sorry about that!
