Can anyone relate and what do you do??

I have bad sciatic pain on my left side but i can deal with that. I know what it is and i know i cant do much until after babe arrives..

BUT this pain is much different. Its on my left side only in the middle of my back. About an inch below the bottom of my bra line and an area the size of a baseball. Its not there when i wake up but slowly comes on throughout the day. By 1pm i cant stand it!! If i sleep on my side it hurts it to. Lying flat on my back seems to be the only thing that helps take it away.

My chiro says its muscle weakness around my rhomboids. The exercises havent help. My massage therapist says its a problem in my lats.. Any of the exercises, i cant do because im pregnant! I just want this damn pain gone... Im dreading the thought that i might have to deal with this for the next four months.

Im calling my physio in the morning to see if they can get me in this week.. Im wondering if she will be able to modify any exercises for me, if i can use a tens machine, or if she will kt tape my back and if that might help.

Anyone else have similar pain?

Yes me!! Exactly as you described too. An inch or two below my bra line and it gets more intense as the day goes on.
My massage therapist told me it was a problem with my bra. She said it didn't fit properly and that was why I had the pain. So I went out and bought two maternity bras... didn't help. My plan is to ask my OB at my appointment this wednesday.

Its not from a bra lol.. i switched to nursing bras, no underwire nothing.. it almost got worse.

I'm thinking its posture based due to weakness but nobody else will tell me that!
I got in for physio on Wednesday, ill see what they tell me

I started off with that pain on one side the left, then got it only on the one side but my entire upper back then eventually both sides then it just turned into upper back pain. I was told it's normal. I was told the small area by my bra line was from Boobs getting heavier/bigger and as they grow and my belly grows I'll get more back pains as my body can't support the weight and muscles try to compensate. Now I have upper and lower back pain. :/

I hope this isnt the case. My boobs have been much bigger then they are now before i lost weight.. And ive only gained 9 pounds!
Im hoping someone can do something!
Honestly my pain is SO bad im struggling to make it through the work day, it has me in tears a lot of the time. Im not sure how much longer i can go without help and answers. And i like to think i have a pretty high pain tolerance. But im sick of this we cant do anything while you are pregnant approach.
Im sooo frustrated by it im on the edge of calling my dr and saying i want pain meds

The best you can do is ask your doctor. It might be the reason or it could be something else. See what you can find out. If you think it's posture try adjusting and see if it helps. Mine won't let me take any but Tylenol and for me Tylenol is the equivalent of taking m&m's for pain.

Ya im only allowed tylenol and its useless! I need advil back in my life lol the things we took for granted pre pregnancy.. Ill never complain about advil again

I get this too, I think it is posture based. I get it worse on days that I am sitting a lot, actually. Try looking at your sitting position (if you work at a desk particularly) - I'm a teacher but a lot of classes are off for various things as it is nearly end of term so I have been sitting doing admin more than usual.

I'm getting mid back pain too, like in between my shoulder blades and across, could be posture related.
I get it normally in the afternoon at work and I find that sitting on a chair makes it worse, and also find it uncomtfy to drive x
