mid cycle spotting but no CM? did I ovulate?

I usually have a decent amount of ewcm. This month I had none but had spotting off and on a few days around when I should have ovulated. Was it ovulation spotting even without CM? Or did I not ovulate this month? I thought I had ovulation pain on CD7 but that would be really early.

Oh wow that's so funny we posted the same problems. GAH I wish I could tell you since obviously I'm having the same problem!

My sister theorized it might be implantation which would work if I did ovulate crazy early but that's very out of the ordinary for me. I have long cycles 30 to.35 days long. I still have almost 2 weeks til my next period is due :/

Has anyone had very early implantation bleeding?

IB isn't off and on though, you know? It's just a little bit of spotting, and it happens 6 days after ovulation. That just wouldn't make sense. I think ovulation spotting makes a lot more sense.
