Has anyone experienced this at about cd 8?

Hmm sometimes, depends, i think period has finished thena day or / later i get an ofd splurge.. (Excuse the expression) hotmone drop poss... Unless you have duper super short cycle

Also this cycle I started taking black cohosh which is supposed to shorten ovulation. Maybe that is unrelated, but I've never had this before

Do you mean ovulating earlier in the cycle? If so , it could be the body preparing to ovulate & sone people do get a bit if spotting also ablrou d this time..
