Might be a dumb idea...

considering I know that I wont look good during labor, and that during labor, i wont actually gaf what I look like, but I know a few months down the road when I look at pictures, i'd like to look at least semi decent.

So, right now, I have ten minutes left until the dye in my hair is set. I'm sick of having mousy brown hair, and i'm glad to have my red back.
I'm going to get my eyebrows waxed in the next month, and I'm hoping my clearish skin sticks around.
I'm also planning on wearing a long tank that says "young and invincible" on it during the birthing process (since I think i'll need that boost lol)...

Anyone else doing something so they wont look like total dog poo in the hospital?

I've been trying to decide whether or not i'll wear makeup xD (I look dead in photos without it).
But when labour starts.. I expect i'll completely forget about it! and completely forget to pack it for the hospital for after but I haaaaaaaate having pictures of me taken otherwise. But I know i'd be sad to not have pictures with him.
But I hate wearing makeup.. so I won't want to put it on and will be far more occupied with cuddles

I look like shit now never mind then. Makeup just slides off my skin, it's oily at the moment and I keep getting lovely big zits yum. I did my hair the other day though and my eyebrows. I'm really not bothered how I look I just want the little one to get here safe.

Im so beyond scared to dye my hair because I feel like it'll come out a really odd color..
I'm going to TRY to make my hair look decent in a way that won't get too crazy during birth for photos though, and I never wear makeup anyway, so I'm hoping I won't look too terrible for birth!

This is what I looked like in the hospital last time (i was very sick and very swollen and very fever so please be a bit forgiving) so I'm hoping to redeem myself a bit this time. I mean, having the LO come safely in the world is beyond good enough for me, it would just be like an extra little bonus to not look like total ass.

Hahaha I love the comment about looking dead with out makeup!! I feel the same!
with my two births I was induced so went kinda prepared, I had curled my hair and put makeup on..but always waited till after birth to highlight my hair again so it looked yuck both times I went in.. the thing is with all the action and fluids they pumped in me and sweat I looked like gorilla both times by the time they were born lol
this time I touched up the highlights a few days ago for a change maybe I can have a decent picture

I would like to think that i COULD look good but i know that there is no way in hell that i will. I wasn't expecting to actually be in labour when it happened last time and i had my hair and make up all done after a nice day out but by the end of it i looked like an utter state, hehe.

And then, of course, i had a bath...... and had no hairdryer or straighteners to tame my stupidly thick wavy hair so it looked bloody ridiculous. I didn't even bother to put make up on because i looked so crap! And i usually have really heavy eye make up on and bright red lipstick, so i look like a completely different (and ill, in my opinion!) person with a bare face!

im being induced so i get to at least go in lookin good lol And once I get the epidural I know i wont be in pain and can lightly spackle (lmfao, my term for doing touch-ups) to look at least half decent again lol I think ill take lots of pics b4 i go get a shower...cuz itll take me 9 yrs to blow dry then straighten my hair and re-do my makeup to fele half decent. With my first baby I looked like death....but then again he was stillborn so i had sufficient reason to not GAF about my looks.

I rarely give a shit about my looks at the best of times.. so during painful labor and childbirth, im sure ill look like some sort of creature of the deep.. and I don't care if the world see's pictures of it.. everyone knows what to expect from me lol

I always wear make up and have my hair straightened and what not, well unless it's the middle of the night haha. but I don't really care too much what I look like, I don't want DH taking too many pics of me. it's all about baby
