I won't know for sure until at least my growth scan on Jan 2nd.
But last week my bump was measuring a week ahead, which scared the hell out me and it made me feel huge. I know a week is nothing, but I am shorty.
Today I had my midwife appointment and now I am measuring a week behind, which means my bump a gotten smaller.
It makes me a little concerned that this baby will end up having IUGR as well.

Unless your midwife actuallly scanned you to tell you these measurements, I wouldn't worry (easier said than done). Could you book in for a private scan, as 4 weeks of worry won't be good for anyone. Or maybe with your history your midwife can get you an earlier scan?

was it the same person who measured you both times hun? x

Don't really have the money for a private scan, private scans are pretty expensive. If it wasn't for my midwife I'd have to wait an extra 2 weeks for a growth scan.

No it wasn't,
I know that could be the reason for the measurements being so different.
My midwife did say she wasn't too worried because it was someone else that measured me.

:D im glad she told you that. my midwife wouldnt take into account any measurement that was done by anyone apart from her lol. xx

just to say after my IUGR baby one of the hospital midwives told me that bump measurements can be out by up to 3lb!!!
