MIL rant! And 1 year BF Milestone!

haha thanks MIL always compliments my looks...actuially when I was pregnant, she was like "Oh, for once my stomach will be smaller than yours" She has had weight issues in the past, so that's what prompted that, then a day after I had Alexa, (when I still had uterus puffiness ) She was like, "that can't all be fat, you didn';t have fat on your belly when you were pregnant!" I was like "no, it's my uterus!" then she went on to say how she never noticed her uterus was still puffy after she had her kids-well she was 350 pounds, how would she notice?

Anyway, i digress, lol, thanks so much for everyone's positivity, and support, it means a lot

well done! i have so much respect for breastfeeding mums. i get a little sad reading about it sometimes as i hate myself for not bf faith for longer. i really wish i'd have kept it up. i only bf her for about 3 weeks. i am going to try my damn hardest with the twins (i know itll b harder than with faith) and whilst discussing it with my mum i mentioned that if faith wants to try my milk (expressed into a cup) then i have no problem with it and would happily give it to her if i have an established supply and enough for the twins. my mum was absolutely disgusted! i was like for god sake she drinks milk from a cow thats been laying in its own crap in some field and you think its gross for her to drink her mother's milk! argh i dunno. anyways im really going off the subject now lol i think its brilliant that you've breastfed for this long and everyone can see how happy alexa looks from your photos on here, she is gorgeous and shes always smiling (im sure thats not always the case but you know what i mean lol). dont take any notice of what anybody says. u carry on doing what is right for you and alexa whether you are bf her for another 6 months or a year or whatever! go you! keep it up
