Mild contractions for days?!

Hi all,

I'm due on Monday and Friday night I started having menstrual-like cramping pretty regularly, it continued into yesterday. On Friday I had an appt, and was 1cm dilated and she did a partial membrane sweep (hurt so so bad!). Then yesterday evening it started feeling more like tightening of my lower uterus and hips, coming about every 10 mins for 40 seconds. But it was always pretty mild, could take a deep breath and just keep doing what I was doing. Pretty much the same today, maybe a bit stronger but less frequent I think.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this...it seems like everyone I know has progressed more quickly and I'm worried these aren't going to get stronger!

I'm going through this right now and I hope it means we are that much closer to meeting our LOs!!!!

This is also how it started with my first, but since he was back to back I had back labor for days as well as the cramping up front.
