I was up all night long with what feels like day 2 of menstrual cramps. This is my first pregnancy so I'm not sure if it's BH. They feel exactly like cramps, down low, very internalized...maybe even like a tightening??? Also accompanied with back pain at times.. Do I chalk it up to stretching uterus or call the OB?? The last few times I called for other things they told me "it's normal"..so I'm expecting to hear that again.
Any suggestions?

I would call to be on the safe side. If you explain that it's really bothering/worrying you, they should have you come in to get checked or go to the hospital atleast. I don't ever take chances when it comes to the baby, but I've dealt with preterm labor and delivery the last two pregnancies. good luck!

I agree with flippprama, I'd get checked. It may be normal, but I've lost a baby to preterm labor so I always tell people not to take chances. And I was always told if it's as strong as period cramps to go in asap.

Hope you get some answers :hugs:

Thanks ladies. I did call and they put in for a few stat tests.
I'll go on my lunch hour to have another US. They mentioned a cervical check but I don't see why that's required...??? Praying everything is ok.

The cervical check is to make sure you haven't started dilating. Glad you're getting checked! Has the cramping stopped?

Not really. It's not as intense as before but still continuous. It travels from under my pelvic bone to feeling like low abdominal cramps.

Okay I'll check back to see how your ultrasound went!

Everything is great. So great that she kicked off the fetal monitor a few times they gave up chasing her withit. ...lil brat lol. Then she moved up and kicked off the other monitor checking for contractions..lol
Urinalysis looked great as did the cervical check. They chalked it up to yesterday mornings DTD causing BH. So I'm ordered to keep up my water intake (yuck) and relax when possible.
Thank you girls for all your support! :)
