Milk coming down feel awful

My milk tienes White yesterday and started coming down like crazy (baby born saturday). I had a fever and my back and waist are killing me. Could it be related?

Do you have any sore red patches on your breasts? mastitis can cause a fever (when a blocked duct becomes infected). How often is baby feeding, and does baby latch well and drain the breast well or are you having feeding problems?

If your back and waist are hurting it could also be a UTI/kidney infection. There are antibiotics that are safe for breastfeeding. I think any fever that lasts more than a day needs checking out.

Get it checked out! I got mastitis after missing one pumping session, red steaks up my boobs but was caught really early, it can turn quite flu like the midwife said.

I got hot flushes when my milk came in I to thought I was getting poorly but I was fine after a couple of days
