Okay, so I may be nuts to think about the next one already, but has anyone kept pumping after their LO is weaned to put away milk to have on hand for the beginning of the next one? I had some troubles with supply (good now, though back to work), and it would be awesome to have a store available. Planning on getting my son to 6mos before introducing solids, but I can totally see keeping up a few pumps a day and having a nice supply in the deep freezer.

the milk would prob be used about 1.5-2 years after storage. I know guidelines say 1 year, but has anyone ever done this and had a problem?

thanks!:hugs:

No, but i dont think its worth the risk. I would rather give them a little formula i think than breastmilk that might have gone off.
