My LO is almost 1 year. She has been eating solids well during the day since I stopped feeding her at night a while back. She still nurses 3-4 times a day. I am working on weaning her completely from nursing in the next couple weeks.
She has been eating dairy for some time including yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese, etc. Now, when I started introducing milk in a sippy, she takes a few sips and gives the yucky face. It's hilarious, but not going to work in the long run. I tried giving her coconut almond milk as well but got the same reaction.
She's used to only water in her sippy cups, so I'm thinking that she may just have to get used to milk...maybe? She drinks water really well. I just want to make sure she's getting enough fat in her diet, not to mention calcium and protein.
We plan to try for another baby in a few months, so I'd like a little time not nursing and not pregnant. lol
Any advice is welcome! Thanks.
PS I'd prefer to steer clear of formula, if possible.
