Apparently (because I have no life and was bored and bloated last night and couldnt move)
According to and interview with walt disney in 1933 he said he gets asked alot about mickey and minnie and the studio decided they are actualy married but dont live together and play boyfriend/girlfriend when the role calls for it but thats just their actimg part and they are married.
