Hello everyone 
I wasn't really sure where I should post this question so I laid it here with hopes that you could provide some insight. I had a Mirena placed when my daughter was about 6 weeks old. She is now 17 months so.....roughly 15 months ago. I started a period on Sept 29th. On Oct 7th I had the Mirena removed. Just a little back story....while on the Mirena it was very common for me to have stop and go bleeding during my cycle. The day I had it removed there was no bleeding, but the day following removal I began to bleed very heavily (lasted 7 days). I am not sure if this was a continuation of the cycle started before removal since 2-3 week bleeds were common for me as well.....or if it was the start of a new cycle caused by Mirena removal. Anybody experienced anything similar to this and have an answer? It would be greatly appreciated!
