I think we have all done it at least once, heard a song over and over again and thought a lyric said something else until one day you realise it was totally different to what you thought it was. Or had to replay a song as we have thought there is no way it is saying what we think it did.

I thought it would be a bit of fun to start a thread where we all add our misheard lyrics just for a giggle

Here are mine:

Kenny Loggins, Danger Zone:
Real lyric: "Highway to the danger zone"
Misheard as: "I went to the danger zone".

Westlife, When You're Looking Like That
Real lyric "She's a five foot ten in catsuit and bambi eyes"
Misheard as: "She's a five foot ten in catsuit and bandy eyed".

REM, The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight
Real Lyric: "Call me when you try to wake her up"
Misheard as "Calling a Jamaican hut"

Bon Jovi, Livin' On A Prayer
Real Lyric: ''It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not''
Misheard as: ''It doesn't make a difference if we're naked or not''

If you have any of your own, please share

I must have loads that I just can't think of.. but "Papa Don't Preach" I always used to sing as "Poppadum Please" when I was little. Haha, I hear the same with Livin' On A Prayer!

Queen, Dont Stop Me now.
Real lyrics: "like an atom bomb."
Mishead as: "Like an alibi."

There are loads more that I just cant think of right now.
