LO is just starting to sleep longer and drop feeds - She has gone from waking every 3 hours in the night for a bottle to waking once at 5 or 6am and then last night she slept from 11pm-9am so technically she missed 2 out of the 6 bottles that she is supposed to have each day on a 4 hour feed routine.

I think she slept so long as I gave her 150ml at 6pm and 10pm with an extra 60ml at 8pm..... as she went 10 hours between a feed last night and a feed this morning I have upped it to 180ml today and shes had feeds at 9am, 1pm, 5pm and will have a 4th bottle at 9pm.... Should I try and give her another feed at 11pm as a 'top up'?

Im worried that she wont be having enough milk in each 24 hours.... She has Aptamil (the ordinary one) and seems quite happy and must have had enough milk yesterday/last night as she slept for so long!

Don't worry hun, Holly stopped waking in the night when she was about 5 weeks old, she just cut the night feed out and stayed fast asleep for 10hrs!
They will wake when hungry. I have found that Holly now feeds more often during the day so she is still taking enough oz's without the night feed too.

If you can try and get the top up in, get it in. Fed them up during the day, and they sleep all night! Thats my moto! Ellsey-Mae used to have her last feed at 11pm i do believe and then went through until 7am, so cut out the 3am. I think she was about 8weeks when she started going through. xx

I wouldn't wory, if she was hungry she would wake.
Ava started sleeping through at 3 weeks & still does now. :flower:

I would just thank your lucky stars! My boy has gone back to two hourly waking and feeding at 8 weeks :( - not that he ever slept through, but he used to manage 3 hours!!

I think she will be fine, and she will wake if she is hungry, they know what to do on that front!
xx

At 10 weeks, Omar was taking 5 bottles during the day (3-4 oz each) & sleeping through for 9-10 hrs with no feeds. At 12 weeks he started to go for 12-13 hrs at night with 4 feeds during the day (4-5 oz each). If your LO is happy with what she's having, there is nothing to worry about hun. xx
